Added pics from the ECIRS race in Atco, NJ today to the photo album. She ran a 14.9 @ 90MPH. Not bad for a stock Impala! Now I can begin my mods... ;)

Got around to putting my new racing stripes/flames on. I also put my 91 tail lights on it last weekend. Pics on the Mods Page. :)

I got my exhaust done today! Woo Hoo!!! Hope to post pics soon. I also tinted it last week. Lookin better! Now it's time to finish installing the amp and building the baffleboard and trunk side panels. :)

I was hoping to update this site more faithfully than the Caddy page, but so far, it's not quite working out that way. ;) Although, in my defense, I must say I've done quite a bit in the past few weeks... Since the last update, I've got a few more things done. I built a baffle board in the trunk for my 2 Kicker free-air 10's and amp. I still need to securely mount the front speakers, install baffles for the rear 6x9's, seal the baffle board better, re-wire all the speakers, including the subs, and undercoat the insides of the door panels to deaden them a bit. I plan to move the front tweeters up into the little spot in the corner of the front windows, too. I've deleted the air pump and associated ca-ca. I replaced the water pump and cleaned a 1/4" of grimey goo off the front of the engine/timing cover/opti/coil... which caused a nice, fast oil leak. Grrr... I did the intake manifold gaskets on it, the back 3 on passenger side were wet and the back 2 on the drivers side were wet with oil. Pics of above are forthcoming, in theory. I've ordered a set of Clear Image Automotive Budget headers and am awaiting delivery of those. When they come in, I'll pull the water pump back off and replace the timing cover seals and plugs and wires when I install them. Hopefully in the next few weeks. I guess that's it for now...

Yeah, so I'm not doing so well with this whole "keeping the site updated" thing. ;) oops... I've done a buncha work to it since the last update. I got tired of the Cragar's and went with an old school look. Wheel Vintiques Rallyes. I REALLY like them. I went through a bit of an ordeal getting them to fit (10" wide ones won't clear the rear calipers) and ended up going with 8's all around with 4" of BS. I have Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires on them, 295/50's in the back and 255/60's in the front. Looks mean as hell!
I also did a bunch of maintenence work and other mods. I did a new cap & rotor, timing cover seals, Magnecore wires, NGK TR55 plugs, Summit coil, radiator, hoses, water pump, alternator rebuild, oil cooler lines, brake refurbish (painted calipers and rotors, new rear caliper brackets, brake goo on the pads so they don't rattle no-mo), Stealth bolt mod, Earl's Braided lines, and CIA Budget headers, SLP bullet cats... There's probably more, but I can't remember it all. I'm just trying to get it ready for INDY!!!!
I still have to install my SSRI and power steering coolah before the trip. Oh yeah, and my Tru-trac and 4.10's. ;)
