Bill's 95 Impala SS Page
Well... New car, new site!
I've finally got the 1995 Dark Cherry Metallic Impala SS that I have wanted for years! I picked her up in November, 2005 with about 150,000 well-taken-care-of miles. She's in great shape and has a few mods. So far it's got a Borla Cat Back, Hennesey intake, Corvette FRC's, all the "Scott Mueller" mods (flash to pass, body bushings, etc) and a few other odds and ends. I'll be adding to that though! So keep coming back and check it out!

So... Where to start with the new car? Well, how about a goal? I'd like to get it to run mid 13's all day long in the summer and handle with the best of them. Nothing too crazy this time. I learned my lesson. ;) Maybe I can get lucky and do it with bolt ons. We'll see. I'm, going to take a more methodical approach this time!
Planned mods: Clear Image Automotive budget headers (got 'em!), high flow Dynomax cats (got SLP Bullets), mandrel bent 2.5" (also from CIA) with no muffs and Dynomax Bullet Race mufflers where the stock resonators go and rectangle tips, new valvesprings and 1.6RR's, a looser converter, Rustic Racing adjustable rear upper & lower control arms & a driveshaft, Hotchkis springs and sway bars, Cragar S/S 17x9" wheels with 275/40 Summitomo HTR Z's (got them too, but sold 'em, now runnin' 15" Rallyes), upgraded brakes all around, tint (done!), some tunes (installed!), interior dress-up, something to visually separate it from the rest (got that already, too!), and some other secrets... ;)
What about way down the road? Well, eventually I may do another T56 swap with this car, but it's got a new GM tranny in it with only 20K miles so I have some time there, I hope. And the engine has high miles, but it does run well. I hope to build a budget stroker for it over the next year or so for when this motor does finally let go. No real crazy plans though.
So yeah, there's a few things to do and not enough time and money to do them. ;) I'm without a garage now, so that may slow me down a bit, and I have my winter beater/parts chaser (the FatWoody - 95 DCM RMW) that's calling for attention too! So I'll update the site when I do stuff (in theory), try to brush up on my web skills, and will try to have fun with this one, too!
Oh yeah... PICS! Here's what she looked like when I picked her up.
